The Altastenberg ski area is located at the foot of the Kahler Asten and is part of the Sauerland winter sports arena. One of the most versatile and popular ski regions of the German low mountain ranges.
So that you can already look forward to your stay when you arrive, we give you tips here on how to get there and on parking:
When travelling from the north (Ruhr area/Dortmund/Münsterland), we recommend avoiding the routes via Winterberg at weekends due to increased traffic. Instead, you can choose from the following alternative routes:
- A46 to exit Meschede-Enste and then via Westernbödefeld to Siedlinghausen. In Siedlinghausen turn right onto the secondary road to Altastenberg.
- A46 to Olsberg and after Olsberg turn right to Siedlinghausen. In Siedlinghausen turn right onto the secondary road to Altastenberg.
