On the way with skis, snowshoes and on foot
Around the Kahler Asten there is a network of up to 150 km of groomed cross-country trails and about 35 km of premium winter hiking trails. From Altastenberg you therefore always have direct access to the cross-country trails from Winterberg, Schmallenberg and the Hunau.
Directly in Altastenberg there are four cross-country trails that are particularly suitable for beginners but also border on demanding tours.
